Water Damage Emergency
- Take a deep breath and stay calm.
- Turn off the water source if possible.
- Call Us at 714-259-9999 ext 21
- Wipe excess water from wood furniture after removal of lamps and tabletop items.
- Place aluminum foil or wood blocks between furniture legs and wet carpeting.
- Remove colored rugs from wet carpeting.
- Place any art in a safe, dry place.
- Turn off electricity if necessary
- Keep out of rooms where ceilings are sagging.

**VERY IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS**
- Use your household vacuum to remove water. Water and Electricity don’t mix.
- Leave wet fabrics in place.
- Leave books, magazines or other colored items on wet carpet or floors.
- Use saturated electronics or other household appliances.
- Turn on ceiling fixtures if ceiling is wet.

Preventing Water Damage In Your Home
From my years of experience working with insurance claims, plumbers, leak detection co. and more. I recommend the following. When away from home you should shut off your main water valve. You should have a quick quarter shut off valve installed. If you don’t have one you should consider having one installed. It will make it easier for you to shut all water off. Turn the water for vacations and when you are away from home. Please consider all water will be shut off , EXCEPT sprinklers, pool fill and ect. Vacations, Christmas and ect.Have a license plumber check all the flexible water lines check and replace if over 7 years old. Some examples are refrigerator water lines, washing machine hoses, and all sink and toilet supply lines. Also have them check the outside pressure regulator to your house. This will keep the pressure from any surges from the water company. This does happen!
